Abba Father,
Fashion within us as grandparents Your enterprising wisdom that takes the tools Youâve placed in our hands and builds the rising generations of our grandchildren with Your intelligence and insight into their purpose and destiny, so they, too, will be builders in their generation and the ones yet to arise.
âWise people are builders â they build families, businesses, communities. And through intelligence and insight their enterprises are established and endure.â
Proverbs 24:3 TPT
enterprise: noun
- a project or undertaking that is especially difficult, complicated, or risky
- a systematic purposeful activity
- readiness to engage in daring or difficult action : INITIATIVE
- boldness or readiness in undertaking; adventurous spirit; ingenuity.
âThe Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me (every Spirit-filled grandparent), because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lordâs favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zionâ to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They (the rising generation of our grandchildren) will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor. They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations.â
Isaiah 61:1-4 NIV
